The Number and The Borgle

I was reading over at Black Listed News that Nordic Countries are leading the shift into a cashless society. Here are some choice excerpts from the article:

"Swedes often make the smallest purchases, such as for chewing gum, with a credit card and can use the Swedish banks’ jointly-developed smartphone app Swish to repay a small debt to a friend. Another app allow drinkers to buy beers in a bar without queuing.

In the Stockholm subway, it is impossible to buy a ticket with cash, while some unemployed people selling street magazines now also accept electronic payments."

[...]

"But Jarl Dahlfors, chief executive of cash handling firm Loomis, says the cashless trend may have gone too far for “unbanked people” such as many elderly.

And “do we really want everything we buy to be registered?” he asked, touching on the loss of privacy involved in switching from cash purchases to card and online payments."

The lone commenter simply left the message: "The Beast! 666!"

I had to respond, since this is something that has been percolating in my mind for quite some time now - I've even attempted to write an article about how uncannily everything is working out according to the "End Times" described in the Bible - and so far, as per God's word in the Book of Daniel where he says you will know God is real because all of his prophecies will come to pass - unlike Nostradamus, the Bible is still batting a thousand... hey, I'm just sayin'.

Here is the comment I left in response:
.

"I think this all the time... and it's all hooked into the internet... and what is computer code except for "numbers"...and, isn't the word "Google" representative of a number? Furthermore, isn't Google representative of an unlimited number, or a number so with so many digits it should be thought to be infinite? And isn't .666 a decimal representing a mathametical fraction that can never be perfectly ended - ie. the equation is infinite?

How long will it be before we can't exist without "the number" that is the internet and computer code? Everything we do is already tracked - they advertise they know what I am buying up town everytime I log online and see the ads. They know what I am thinking, they have formulas to know what motivates me... they track my online activity to better "target me" - whether the corporatacracy trying to sell me things or the government trying to control me.

The stock market's biggest players are now run by "algos" electronically surveying news-feed headlines, then automatically positioning trades in a microsecond according to what "should" happen without any human input... an early form of artificial intelligence - which controls untold billions of dollars each day!

And, it is getting to be harder and harder to do away with it. So hard that in the near future, perhaps there WILL only be 144,000 people left on earth who are not "plugged into the borg."

.
Update: Another commenter responds with: "Why 144,000? I thought it was supposed to be 500,000,000 according to the Georgia Stone Henge."
.
And the response:
.
"That's what it says in the Book of Revelations - that only 144,000 will be saved.
.
Everything else about the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelations is also coming true.
.
God said, for example, that the Jews would be restored to Israel - and, since 1948, they have been. The Apocalypse predicted in the Bible could not have happened without this.
.
The Book of Revelation also talks about Armageddon involving the melting of one's flesh and so forth... something now possible with the advent of nuclear warfare...
.
And now, we have "The Number" and the cashless society predicted in the Book of Revelation.
.
Also, in the Book of Daniel, it was predicted that there would be four empires (The statue in Daniel's vision) - each arm & leg representing the four empires that would rule the world before the end times. The first was Persia (to who Daniel was prophecying), the second was Greece, who defeated Persia yet still worshipped paganism. The third was Rome - and we still are living in the Roman Age, since it was Rome that took on the mantle of Christianity in 325 AD at the behest of Constantine... an ideology which has and still ruled us since the fall of the Roman Empire. (The Hapsburgs are a good example of this, even though they have been supplaced by others - also, many of our political concepts still come from Rome).
.
So... that's three of the four limbs taken care of.
.
The fourth empire, it is predicted, will be global and last for 1000 years and will encompass the entire earth as the mightiest of empires that has ever existed. This is what will ultimately defeat the Rome that we currently live in.
.
And, are we not living in the age of "Globalization?" The last time there was a "Global Government" was during the building of the Tower of Babel, during the Sumerian Civilization (the FIRST one) - when we all spoke one language (today, Math is considered the universal language, and thanks to the internet, it is).
.
We are again speaking universally, through numbers on the internet.
.
We are indeed speeding pell-mell towards Global Government...
.
It very well could last 1000 years, since for the first time in history, there will be no outside forces to compete with Global Government...
.
I'm not a religious wierdo, btw - I'm just sayin'.
.
This is what has been predicted... and for the first time in millenia, the conditions are all here to make it possible... and it seems to, indeed, be happening!"
