Garage Apartment

I really like the idea of building a garage apartment on a piece of land and not worrying about an actual house until later - or if at all. One particular garage apartment I like is at this website called Owlridge where it is part of property for sale in Pemberton, BC.

It's really all that a single guy needs; a decent place to live that doesn't take much to maintain & keep clean, plus a shop downstairs where one can work on projects or even start a small home-based business. Or, you could always use the garage for extra living space - it would make a great rec-room with a pool table or a home theatre system.
